A wool pile of symmetric knots on a cotton foundation. This rather wide, rustic kenareh (runner) presents a slate-blue field influenced by the detached flower-spray patterns of American-style Sarouk rugs, incorporating aroids, rosettes, and branching stems. The abrashed red border displays simple vegetal forms and is flanked by sand-toned minor borders with reversing fan palmettes.
