Vintage Persian Baluch Pictorial Rug

A wool pile of asymmetric knots on a wool foundation. The abrash-beige field shows a tall camel facing left, bearing a decorated Turkmen bridal litter set on a blue camel blanket. Small birds flutter on either side, and an inscription in Cyrillic characters appears above. A coral and teal major border with triangular motifs frames the composition. There is a narrow inner upper border with birds and a wider lower band featuring a vehicle. The elems (extra end panels) display fringed diagonal bars forming lozenges.
